Aaron M. Richardson was named editor of the Charlottesville Daily Progress.
Richardson, 30, grew up in Lexington and is an alumnus of the University of Mary Washington. He has lived in Charlottesville for more than six years. He first joined the Daily Progress in 2011 as a reporter and covered a variety of beats and topics from government to education to the environment.
