From Monique Gormont Mobley: Lisa Bentley Brouelette: On August 23, 2016, my older son Adam and his wife Sara gave me a grandson named Rory. On November 1, 2016, I was promoted to Lieutenant for the Kirkland, WA police department. I am in charge of Professional Standards.
Monique Gormont Mobley: Scott and I moved to Annapolis MD in the spring, after 10 years of living in the Madison WI area. Ironically, we now live near our parents and siblings after 30 years of living across our beautiful country but are apart from our children. That’s an adjustment!
Scott completed his PhD and received a Post-doctoral Fellowship to teach history at the US Naval Academy. I am a middle school ESOL teacher working in 3 local schools. We are both busy but trying to take in the sights and make new friends. We enjoyed tailgating at the Navy football games since the Stadium is walking distance from our house.
Our kids are doing well. Lauren is a 3rd year teacher in the Madison WI area and Sean recently started a new job (still in Seattle) at the Museum of Flight. We enjoyed a family trip to Seattle this summer and look forward to another reunion here in Annapolis over Christmas.
