Teacher Wins Yale Award

Connecticut high school teacher and debate coach Jeremy White ’94 is among the 2020 Yale Educator Award winners, recognizing outstanding educators worldwide who have inspired their students to achieve at high levels.

White, who graduated in history at Mary Washington and earned a master of arts in teaching at Sacred Heart University, was one of 81 educators chosen from more than 300 candidates nominated by incoming Yale students. He teaches social studies at Stamford High School.
