Colby Proffitt and his wife Farrell were married on September 28, 2014, in Emerald Isle, North Carolina. They currently reside in Arlington, Virginia.

Amanda Gold recently moved to Israel and will be getting her master’s degree in non-profit management and leadership from Hebrew University. She also was recently appointed director of Taglit Birthright for Hibba Youth Jewish Movement.

Jessica Sine is graduating from the Seton Hall Accelerated Nursing Program at the end of October. She will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Congratulations to Luisa Dispenzirie on graduating from The George Washington University with a Master of Arts in Museum Studies and in June 2014 beginning her work with the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park as the Museum Curator.

Congratulations to Jane Ballard for receiving her Master of Counseling from Regent University in May and for her new job as a High School Counselor.

Congratulations to Chrissy (Boyer) DeMarr and Matt DeMarr ’10 for the birth of their son Thomas Rex-Paul DeMarr on August 24, 2014.

Everett Bartlett is currently living in Los Angeles and currently taking part in an AmeriCorps program providing tutoring services in English Language Arts to seventh graders at a charter school in a target community.

This past year, Whitney Hanlin was promoted to Assistant Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations at George Mason University’s School of Business.

David Barth continues to grow his business, Peak Sound of Virginia, a live sound and recording production entity and can’t stop dreaming big!

Sam Crystal graduated with a degree in Historic Preservation, and was on the executive board for the Washington Guides for three years, as well as FUN INC. for one year. He is currently spending the 2014-15 academic year in Jerusalem, Israel, as the Congressional Affairs Fellow in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Israel Government Fellows. In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs he will be following American Congress, including the midterm elections and all legislation relating to the State of Israel.

Conan Smeeth is currently in Moscow, Russia, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), and has been in this capacity since September.

Elizabeth Storey started a School Psychology doctorate program at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, in the fall of 2014.
